Has a brilliant and intense ruby red appearance and an ample, persistent bouquet with plum and red berry tones. The palate is full and generous, with velvety tannins and a long finish.
Vinification Note:
This red wine comes from the southern part of Tuscany and it is made with 100% Sangiovese grapes, like the Brunello di Montalcino and all the other great wines of Tuscany. It is a full-bodied wine, with a good tannic structure balanced by a lively freshness. The making of Morellino goes back for centuries but its approach is very modern and pleasurable.
