Tasting Note:
Complex, broad and fascinating nose, a veritable cencerto of aromas including ripe fruits such as cherries, tobacco, cocoa and vanilla. The palate is concentrated, rich and captivating with a charming smoothness and seemingly infinite length.
Vinification Note:
Sourced exclusively from the finest Nebbiolo marc from some of the finest producers in La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Nizza Monferrato. The distilation is discontinuous in small copper boilers powered by steam. Ageing is in 225 litre medium plus toast barrels for almost 10yrs before bottling. Only a few thousand bottles ever made in any vintage.
