Tasting Note:
10 years in Tronçais d´Allier barrels has allowed this soft and elegant grappa to develop a complex structure of vanilla, exotic spices, apricot and marzipan aromas and flavours. Very approchable, mild entry with seemingly endless length.
Vinification Note:
The pomace was sourced exclusively from high quality wineries in La Morra and Monforte d'Alba in Piemonte. The discontinuous method of distillation uses small copper steam boilers. The grappa is aged in 225L barrels with a medium plus toast for around 7 years before bottling.
