Food Matching Note:
A pleasingly palatable combination can be made with the following dishes: pasta with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, gorgonzola and pine nuts, citrus tarragon chicken or pork medallions with Dijon mustard cream sauce.
Tasting Note:
Pale straw with greenish reflections. Characteristic delicate fruit on the nose. Exotic, lemony-scented Vermentino exhibits fresh, ripe fruit as well as a medium-bodied roundness on the palate. Delicate, soft and fruity harmonic length.
Vinification Note:
This Vermentino a varietal known as Rolle in Southern France, it fermented at low temperatures and bottled early to preserve its fruit. Traditional techniques are incorporated in both the vineyard as well as the cellar.
