Food Matching Note:
Pistachio-crusted pork with plum sauce and fried leeks, boiled lobsters with tarragon butter or pasta with caramelised onions, cabbage, and smoked ham.
Tasting Note:
It shows a deep straw yellow hue, with a hint of light green. Elegant bouquet with a scent of vanilla. Good balance and long finish.
Vinification Note:
The Riserva is made from a selection of grapes produced by the oldest vine of the vineyard. The fermentation of the must is in barriques where it stays for 11 months. After bottling the Vernaccia Riserva fines for one year before release.
