The San Valentino estate is situated in the foothills behind Rimini, close to the border of the Marche. Roberto Mascarin, firstly with winemaker Fabrizio Moltard and since 2008 with Benoit de Coster, has led a program of continuous renewal and upgrading, which today makes San Valentino the reference point for Emilia Romagna wines. Their Terra di Covignano is regarded as one of Italy’s finest Sangiovese wines, and has been the recipient of several Tre Bicchieri (three glasses) awards in the last four years.
