Tim Knappstein, quietly spoken, self deprecating, with a bone dry sense of humour, is a legend of Australian winemaking with over three decades under the belt. Tim lost the right to use his name when he sold the famous ‘Knappstein’ winery and brand based in the Clare Valley, a story which is still told in the hills to this day.
